Welcome to 6F
Term 1 has already been jam-packed. We started off the year with an amazing adventure to PGL at Winmarleigh Hall and now we have settled into the busy schedule of Year 6. Check out the pictures below to find out more about our holiday adventure.
Over the coming weeks, we will be looking closely at the Marvellous Mayan culture in our creative topic work and in literacy we will be writing reports to inform others about it. Don’t forget to keep up with your MyMaths homework online as this will support what we are learning about in class.
This term we have double PE sessions. One will be based on team work and communication skills with Mr Fogg and the other will be hockey with myself. For outdoor PE, when it is cold, you are allowed to wear jogging bottoms and a jumper. Trainers are also permitted outdoors.
In Term 2, don't forget your PE kits on Tuesday.
Monday - spelling test, MyMaths due & Spag.com set
Tuesday – Reading diary monitored
Thursday – MyMaths homework set
Friday - PE kits & spag.com homework due
It is vital that you read five times a week and record it in your diary. Jot down any interesting vocabulary, impressive sentences or simply what you thought of your book or chapter.
