The Carol Service in Church was wonderful. We are all so proud of the readers, singers and instrumentalists and of the behaviour of all our children. Well done! Thank you to all parents who walked with us to church and/or attended the service.

Six performances were held of the traditional Christmas story performed by RB, RG, RY, 1B, 1G, 1GR, 2F, 2AH and 2KH. Each was unique and very special. Key Stage 2 Carol Service
This will take place on Tuesday 8th December at All Hallows Church at 10.00am. All parents and governors are welcome to join us at the church for the service though offers to help walk with the children from school would still be appreciated. On this morning we would be grateful if you would dress your children warmly in readiness for the walk. Coats, scarves, hats and gloves and sensible shoes are a necessity as we will be going despite the weather! Thank you for your help in this.
Infant Nativities
The children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are all looking forward to performing to their parents one afternoon and evening next week. This year, we have chosen to perform the traditional Nativity story together with some slightly more well-known Christmas carols and songs. We do hope you enjoy it. If at all possible, we encourage you to leave young babies and toddlers at home with a relative so that we can all enjoy the children's hard work without additional distractions. Thank you so much!
PSHE Update
As part of our drive to support children’s learning and well-being we are currently reviewing the following schemes of work across the school: - PSHE (Personal, Social and Health Education)
- SRE (Sex and Relationships) Education
- Drug Education
As a school we currently follow the National Guidelines set out by the Government for these lessons and will continue to do so. However, we feel that hearing the views of parents at Norbreck will provide further information to inform our planning therefore ensuring we are addressing the needs of both parents and pupils. A selection of parents across both key stages will receive three questionnaires based upon each of these areas. A selection of pupils across both key stages will be interviewed by the School Council in school.
If you do not receive the questionnaires but would like to voice your comments, please call into the office for the forms.
Many thanks, Mrs Cadwallader, PSHE & Healthy Schools Co-ordinator.
Extra Curricular Clubs
The following clubs have now finished for this term; Tag Rugby, Cross Country (Weds), Reading club and Indoor Athletics. Cross Country (Thurs), Chess, Boy’s Football and Netball will hold their final sessions next week. Milligan & McCann Football club hold their final session on Tuesday 15th December.
Blackpool Music Service Annual Christmas Festival
The children of the festival choir will sing in this event on Tuesday evening and we wish them every success. Tickets are available from the Arena Box Office.
Spare Uniform
We would be very grateful for any spare boys trousers aged 8 and under. Please send them into the office. Thank you.
