Our incredible team had the unforgettable experience of playing at one of the most iconic stadiums in the world. From walking out onto the pitch to hearing the roar of support from the stands, every moment was packed with excitement, pride, and passion. The boys represented Norbreck with honour, showing outstanding sportsmanship, teamwork, and determination throughout the day. It was more than just a match — it was a celebration of everything they’ve worked so hard for.

As Blackpool Kids Cup winners, the Norbreck boys’ team proudly represented Blackpool FC in the North of England regional finals in Wigan—where a place at Wembley was on the line!

A Tough Battle from the Start

The competition was fierce, with large pitches, small nets, and goalkeepers who seemed unbeatable. Goals were scarce, and many group matches ended in tense 0-0 draws. But Norbreck’s quality shone through, with Mason, Jake, and Harry finding the net at crucial moments. Ellis also pulled off one of the most incredible saves you’ll ever see!

Step by Step to Glory

🏆 Group Winners: Norbreck topped their group with sheer determination.
⚽ Quarter-Finals: A dramatic last-minute strike from Mason secured a 1-0 win over Bolton.
🥅 Semi-Finals: A nerve-wracking penalty shootout against Burton saw Ellis step up as the hero once again with another incredible save.

The Final Showdown

One final game against Wigan stood between Norbreck and a dream trip to Wembley. It was a tense match where Norbreck had the better chances, but once again, penalties would decide the outcome.

With nerves of steel, Jake, Fletcher, and Mason buried their spot-kicks, while a Wigan player heartbreakingly missed his.
