Welcome to the Expressive Arts page, where creativity, talent, and passion come alive! At our school, we believe in recognising and nurturing the incredible talents of our students, and Glee Club is the perfect place for them to shine. Glee Club is a vibrant dance production group that works hard to create an unforgettable performance at the renowned Blackpool Winter Gardens as part of the Schools Alive event.
Each year, Norbreck welcomes a travelling theatre company, M&M Theatre Co, who take their performances of classic tales on the road and every child has the opportunity to experience watching a wonderful performance of acting, singing and dancing.
We also enter local competitions like the Pop Idol contest and the thrilling Strictly Schools' Games dance competition.
Our school never fails to impress and dazzle every audience, and we are so proud of the creative energy and dedication our students bring to the stage. Whether you're a dancer, singer, actor, or aspiring performer, at Norbreck, we nurture the talents of our future stars - it is the perfect place to let your talent soar.
Glee Club & Schools Alive
Bollywood Dance Festival
Children from Years 3 and 4 had a fantastic time attending the Bollywood Dance Festival at Blackpool Sixth Form. They represented Norbreck beautifully—showing impeccable behaviour and acting as outstanding role models throughout the event. Their enthusiasm, resilience and willingness to try something new were clear to see.
During the workshop, the children learnt an authentic Bollywood-style dance routine, which they later performed confidently in front of the other participating schools. They should feel incredibly proud of their achievement.

🎄 Norbreck Singing Squad Shine at the Blackpool Schools' Christmas Festival! 🎶
Our Singing Squad proudly represented Norbreck at the Blackpool Schools' Christmas Festival, held in the magnificent Empress Ballroom at the Winter Gardens. 💚💛
Joining their voices with children from schools across Blackpool, they delivered a wonderful performance of festive songs, showcasing their hard work, dedication, and love of music. 🎵✨
Each member sang with confidence and enthusiasm, and they were truly a credit to our school. 🌟💚💛

Our Glee Club children performed "Glee Goes Wild" as the opening act of Schools Alive 2025 at the iconic Blackpool Winter Gardens. The staff and audience were astounded by their singing and dancing; they simply oozed confidence and shone like the stars they are! The children's dedication and hard work truly paid off, and we are so incredibly proud of the whole troupe. Huge congratulations to the performers and a heartfelt thank you to the staff for their outstanding support throughout the preparation!
Strictly School Games
Our students had an incredible time at the iconic Blackpool Tower Ballroom, taking part in the Strictly Schools competition!
The day began with an exciting dance workshop, where we learnt a brand-new routine. In the afternoon, we took to the stage and dazzled the audience, performing in front of schools from across the region.
It was a fantastic experience filled with fun, teamwork, and unforgettable memories!
