Norbreck’s school councillors and Wembley football champions were honoured with a very special invitation to the Mayor’s Parlour by Blackpool’s Mayor, Kim Critchley. During this unforgettable visit, the pupils were given an exclusive tour of the Town Hall and stepped into the shoes of real councillors as they sat in the impressive council chamber. They took part in a lively question and answer session, gaining fascinating insights into how local decisions are made. To top it all off, each student had the chance to pose for a photo in the Mayor’s seat – a truly memorable moment! As one of only a few schools to receive such an invitation, we felt incredibly privileged and proud to represent Norbreck at such a prestigious occasion. 🏛️🎉📸👏
