Our pupils thoroughly enjoyed their educational visit to Clitheroe Castle, where they took part in a range of engaging and interactive activities. During the visit, they learnt about the construction of motte and bailey castles, explored the skills needed for medieval sword fighting, and discovered fascinating facts about castles and keeps.

The children also enjoyed discussing myths and legends, including the different types of dragons featured in traditional stories. The day provided a wonderful opportunity to bring history to life and deepen their understanding of the past.

Throughout the visit, our pupils demonstrated excellent behaviour, enthusiasm, and curiosity, representing the school brilliantly and making us incredibly proud.
