Welcome to Class 3F
Welcome to our class page. We hope you will find all the information you need. Why not have a look at the photos and click on the useful links at the bottom of the page?
For more information and important messages, make sure to download Seesaw. Please ask for the QR code to access your child's learning journal.
Each morning we will have an English and a Maths lesson, a Guided Reading session and sometimes a current affairs discussion. Each week in English, we will learn a new spelling pattern. This will be posted on Seesaw and we will test the children on these at the end of every term. The areas taught in Maths can be found in the Curriculum Overview as can all other foundation subjects.
Guided Reading sessions involve reading and responding to a text and answering comprehension questions, under the guidance of the class teacher.
Homework will always be linked to the work we have completed in class.
PE is on a Tuesday and outdoor games with BFC is on Fridays. Please remember to send in an outdoor games kit.
Homework will be given out each Thursday; this is to be returned the following Tuesday. The focus for homework will be a combination of Maths, English or Topic work.
Reading books and reading diaries need to be in School every day. The children will change their books as and when needed - after they have quizzed.
Each morning your child will receive fruit and milk.
