Class 3R

Welcome to Class 3G!

3G- Mrs G Gower

Welcome to our class page. We hope you will find all the information you need. Why not have a look at the photos and click on the useful links at the bottom of the page?

Lower Key Stage 2 Charter.

Classwork

Each morning we will have an English and a Maths lesson, a Guided Reading session and sometimes a current affairs discussion. Each week in English, we will learn a new spelling pattern which can be accessed on Seesaw.

At the end of each term the children will be tested. The areas taught in Maths can be found in the Curriculum Overview as can all other Foundation subjects.

Guided Reading sessions involve reading and responding to a text and answering comprehension questions, under the guidance of the class teacher.

Homework will always be linked to the work we have completed in class.

Class Routines

PE is on a Tuesday and Outdoor Games is on a Friday (weather permitting). Please remember to send in an outdoor games kit.

Homework will be given out each Thursday; this is to be returned the following Tuesday. The focus for homework will be a combination of Maths, English or Topic work.

Reading books and reading diaries need to be in School every day. The children will change their books when they have quizzed.

Each morning your child will receive fruit and milk.
