Year 4 Take on the RAF STEM Challenge: Escape from Volcano Island!

Our Year 4 children recently took part in an exciting RAF STEM event, Escape from Volcano Island. In this thrilling challenge, pupils had to work together to rescue stranded islanders by building the most cost-effective bridge out of LEGO. Each team was made up of key roles including a finance manager, engineer, designer, and code breaker—every child had a vital part to play! The activity tested their problem-solving skills, creativity, and teamwork, all while reinforcing our school’s core values. It was a fantastic day full of fun, learning, and collaboration, and we are incredibly proud of how hard everyone worked. 🧠🧱🌋💡🤝🎉
