📚✨ A Magical Morning with Shane Hegarty ✨📚

On Tuesday 16th September, a group of enthusiastic Year Two children had the incredible opportunity to meet the acclaimed children’s author, Shane Hegarty. Known for his imaginative storytelling and captivating characters, Shane travelled all the way from Dublin to visit a select number of primary schools across England — and we were thrilled to be one of them!

During his visit, Shane shared excerpts from several of his popular books, including his latest release, The One and Only You. The children were completely absorbed in his stories, which sparked laughter, curiosity, and wonder. Following the readings, Shane hosted a lively question-and-answer session, where pupils eagerly asked about his writing process, inspirations, and favourite characters.

The visit left a lasting impression, with many children feeling inspired to become authors themselves. Several have already begun crafting their own stories, filled with imagination and creativity — a true testament to the power of storytelling.
